- Size of Units: Sydney Hospital – 10 Consultants, 3 SET trainees (2 Ortho and 1 Plastic Surgery); St Luke’s Hospital – 5 Consultants
- Number of consultants involved with PFET training: All involved
- Mixed unit: 6 Orthopaedic / 4 Plastic Surgery
- Public / private mix
- Case-mix: Sydney – trauma/ elective, hand and wrist; St Luke’s – mainly elective
- Fellow’s timetable: Daily Hand Clinics, 1-2 operating lists a week, teaching in Clinics and theatre, 2 weekly meetings, bi-monthly Journal Club meetings
- Training focus: Soft tissue, trauma, arthroscopic surgery, Microsurgery
