The Travelling Fellowship

The AHSS Travelling Fellowship is a prestigious award designed to support the professional development of early career consultant hand surgeons. It provides an opportunity to attend major international meetings and visit leading academic centres, helping to build clinical expertise, research knowledge, and global professional networks. Fellows are encouraged to share their learnings with the wider AHSS and hand surgery community.

Research Grant

The AHSS Research program supports and promotes high-quality research in hand and wrist conditions. Through a dedicated Research Committee, members are provided with guidance, resources, and opportunities—including competitive research grants—to encourage innovation, collaboration, and the advancement of hand surgery knowledge.

Outreach Projects

AHSS Outreach supports the delivery of hand surgery care, education and training across Asia and the Pacific. Through long-standing partnerships, members contribute to improving patient care, building local surgical skills, and fostering sustainable international collaboration in underserved communities.
